Billing Policy

Billing and refund rules for Persistly subscriptions.

Last updated: 2026-05-17. This Billing Policy applies to use of Persistly provided by Northshore Labs LTD.

1. Subscriptions

The Service operates on a subscription basis. Billing cycles may be monthly or yearly depending on the plan selected at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.

2. Payments

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store full payment card details.

3. Free plans, trials, and promotions

Free plans, trials, launch discounts, and promotional codes may include feature, request, rate, storage, support, duration, or eligibility limits. Unless stated otherwise, promotional offers are not transferable, may be changed or withdrawn, and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Plan changes clear existing subscription discounts unless Persistly explicitly states otherwise. If a promotional code is eligible for an upgrade, downgrade, or billing interval change, it must be entered and accepted for that specific change.

If a trial requires payment details, it may convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless cancelled before the trial ends. If a trial does not require payment details, access may be limited or disabled when the trial ends until a paid plan is selected.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided unless stated otherwise or required by law.

After cancellation, runtime access, dashboard features, project limits, export access, and stored Customer Data may be limited according to the Terms, DPA, and applicable retention schedules.

5. Plan changes

Upgrades, downgrades, and billing interval changes are handled through Stripe or the Persistly dashboard where available. Stripe may calculate prorations, credits, or immediate charges depending on the change and billing settings.

Downgrades may reduce request, rate, storage, restore-history, feature, and support limits. If your usage exceeds the downgraded plan, the Service may reject new writes, skip history retention, throttle traffic, require cleanup, or keep higher limits until the next billing transition where supported.

6. Overage and quota handling

Persistly may enforce published plan limits instead of automatically charging overage fees. If paid overages or add-ons are introduced later, their pricing and rules will be shown before they apply.

7. Refunds

Refunds may be issued at our discretion and are reviewed case by case.

8. Failed payments

If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and may suspend access until payment is successful. During payment issues, runtime access may be limited, downgraded, or suspended to protect the service.

9. Taxes and invoice details

Prices may include or exclude VAT depending on your location. You are responsible for any applicable taxes and for providing accurate billing, company, and tax ID details before invoice finalization.

If invoice details need correction after payment, contact support. Some corrections can be made through Stripe customer records; finalized invoices may require a credit note, corrected invoice, or accounting review.

10. Chargebacks and disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact support before opening a chargeback where possible. We may suspend accounts involved in unresolved payment disputes.

11. Pricing changes

We may update pricing or billing terms with notice.

12. Contact

Billing questions can be sent to billing@persistly.app.
